Let Me In

O.K. - So it's a long weekend and everything's supposed to be going smoothly, right ? Wrong. We've come to this outpost station, a time share of a friend of Pols family, some asteroid farmers cabin way out here on the rim. Were supposed to be partying, but - NO. Someone forgot the ranstule fuel, and all the sub-phonic fiber cut in links. SO . . . I get elected to stay behind and watch the stuff, while everyone else 'zips' back to the core to grab whats needed.  Sounds simple enough. Yeah right - and now this, a Crut Slug sniffing around outside. Great !!! And all they leave me with is this old E-66, like I'm supposed to do something with it, probably tickle it - crash slam , I hate this stupid, stupid planet . . .       

Under - age

You know how mad you used to get when you tried sneaking into places when you were under-age and got caught. Well this little guy's no different. I mean, you'd think you would be 'in' no problem, especially if you scammed your old mans Power Expansion Suit for the night without him knowing, but NO. First, getting past the Quartz Detection Rings in fractile orbit in the high stratosphere,  then hiding the damned shuttle - and all the Krouult Worm extract, then walking to the Bar . . . .  only to find DOOR GUARDS, that asked for I.D.  - I mean, Freddie said it would be no problem, him and his brother . . . .

Roam Through The Roses

I was listening to Chet baker do his version of  'It's Always You'  and he sings  "When ever I roam through roses, and lately I often do - funny it's not a rose I touch, it's always you . . ."  and I thought  'Oh, those poetic guys - '  And then I thought, WOW - you'd get cut to shreds - and then I laughed and laughed at the irony. Anyway it gave me the idea it would make an amusing cover for a compilation of poetry, You know - crazy shoe box stuff you keep hidden, because the world would melt if it got out.

Viking Dad Colouring Placemat

This is a piece I did for  Viking Dad.   http://www.vikingdad.com/   Its composed of key images that are iconic in the show and hold significance in the V.D. world. It was intended as a 'Coloring Placemat' that was handed out at the V.D. premiere in Nov. 09. See if you can find these components in the interviews ( Ask V.D. ) or in the episodes. I have to check with the producers, but I'm not sure if any came back colored.  Hey guys - did we get any back ??? ( LOL )

Alien Alley
